We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Diabetes Educator to join our rural healthcare team in Kerang on a 0.6 FTE temporary maternity leave cover. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful difference in a close knit regional community by supporting individuals across all stages of diabetes management.
As a Diabetes Educator, you will provide comprehensive, evidence based education and care to people living with or at risk of diabetes, including those newly diagnosed, managing complex conditions, or experiencing gestational or pre-diabetes. You will play a vital role in empowering clients through individual consultations, structured group education sessions, and outreach initiatives within the community.
This position is ideal for a clinician who thrives in a rural setting, values continuity of care, and appreciates the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
